Writing Fests

Today has been such a productive day! I got so much writing done, both the actual writing and uploading a new section on a fan fiction that I'm writing.

Did I struggle?

Yes.

But I got legit creative writing done. My writing group will be so proud of me!! 

Having Spotify playing in my ears really helps. I've gone through several different movie soundtracks, Broadway tracks, a few other favorite songs, it's been great. 

I think I was sitting outside for about 3 hours. Way to go me! Was it all writing, no, no it wasn't. But a great deal (85-95%) was writing. 

Now to switch over to the topic that I seem to have been focused on lately. I haven't been a very good friend lately. I've been pushy, bossy, demanding...not traits that are desirable in friends. He is a much better friend to me than I am to him. He never gets mad at me. Ever. 

What a nice friend. Probably shouldn't screw it up.

Back to me. 

It felt so good to write, to go back into the world of fiction and fantasy and create things, writing down scenes in my head. 

I felt productive, I felt rejuvenated, I felt creative. 

Now I just need to keep up with that feeling.
